USED Yamaha 1986 RGX220 Electric Guitar Black w/tweed case - CONSIGNMENT
Solidbody 6 String Electric Guitar with 2 humbucking pickups and locking tremelo bridge.
It came from the 80's...
By the mid to late 80's, Yamaha had a lot of "Shredder" style guitars in their fleet.
The RGX220 is a cool more affordable Yamaha from 1987.
Featuring 2 hot Yamaha designed humbucking pickup *guaranteed to scream
A Floyd Rose Style/Licensed single locking tremelo bridge with lock nut.
Maple neck with 24 fret rosewood finger board.
3 Way toggle switch
and... a very cool Yamaha spin on the pointy/hocker stick headstock shape of the time.
This Consignment guitar is in very good condition - plays and sounds great.
Note - the tone control does not work, which normally would only concern the function of the tone control but in this case, it's a push/pull pot for coil tapping which in Not working. So essentially, it's a single volume electric guitar at the moment.
Comes with an aftermarket Tweed case. Looks like ones that would have, possibly, come with some Japanese Tokais, ESP or Kramers in the 80's.
The retaining fabric for the case is broken - case is in fair shape.
