Vintage American Made pre war Hollowbody Archtop acoutsic guitar made by Harmony.
Going from the build size and appointments, this would be an earlier model from the 1930's... circa 1934.
One such appointment is the shape/size of the F Holes and that they're segmented.
These S.S. Stewarts were made by Harmony USA. The Spruce top appears to be a carved top, instead of a pressed top. That would make sense as the Harmony guitars of the time would have been a carved top.
Appears to be Birch back and sides.
At some poingt this guitar must have had some love as it plays fantastic! It's currently strung up with fairly light strings.
Larger C shape neck profile with a radius close to 14".
Rosewood Fret Board and Bridge.
Head stock has the perloid veneer with S.S. Stewar etched into it.
Original pickguard still intact.
Overall, this Consignment guitar is in Very Good ++ condition, especially for it's age and the fact that most of these older archtops are in need of a neck reset to be able to play.
The most notable wear is what looks to be a ding/hole that has been fixed along the side of the body, as seen in picture.
There's good honest wear/relic to the body - nothing faked here.
Comes with a soft case - could have been the original - that's beiong held togerther with a belt. The case is not in great shape.
