Compact Vibrato and Trem pedal with controls with Speed, Depth and Wave Shape in Excellent condition.
Another compact and very durable pedal from Marshall's past... The VT-1
The first "effect" to be added to a Marshall amplifier design was a Tremolo effect, featured in their 1960's - Super Tremolo, Tremolo, JTM Trem 50 watt, etc.
That Trem effect has been updated by Marshall for this Compact pedal.
This is a very cool and interesting pedal. While the Trem is, well... a trem the Vibrato mode is pretty cool, and most people's favorite use for this pedal.
With a 2 mode switch - Vibrato and Trem settings, controls for speed and rate it also has a variable wave form knob for morphing between a sawtooth wave shape and square wave shape.
But, here's where things get very cool about this pedal (that most people don't talk about)
It features a Left and Right out, with the Right being the "Inverse" of the left - pretty usual for pedals like this, right?
"Split Phase Modulation"...
Now for the twist - Output 2 is Only trem out, so if you're using a stereo setup/audio source, and you have the mode switch to "VIB" you will get Vibe and Trem at the same time - left output being Vibe and right output being inversed Trem.
A very cool sound - almost like it turns into an Harmonic trem sound but with the non-modulated Trem being the inverse of the Modulated Vibrato!
This Used pedal is in Excellent condition with some minor wear/scratches and some of the in/out graphics on the sides are starting to wear off.
Can be powered by 9 volt battery or optional power supply (not included).
