6 String solidbody electric guitar featuring a Birch and Basswood Body, Bolt on Maple neck with maple fretboard, 3 Single coil pickups, Master Volume and Tone controls, phase switch for middle pickup and gold and brass hardware, in Good Condition.
Introduced in 1981, this little guy hails from Feb 1982 - these Blazers were only made for a couple of years before being replaced by the Roadstar Series of guitars.
These were Ibanezs' answer to the Fender Stratocaster and were Very popular with the new wave/rock crowd of the early 1980's
"FIXX anyone?"
Featuring a Birch and Basswood body fitted with a bolt on hard rock maple neck, with 21 fret maple fingerboard and gold "Smooth Tuner II" tuners.
The neck profile is a thin modern "D" shape with a standard 25.1/2" scale length.
Body is finished in what Ibanez called "Burgundy" but we called it "Dakota Red"
Super 6 Single Coil pickups, that Ibanez exclaimed were the hottest single coil pickups they made featuring oversized lugs, Alnico Magnet and twice the usual windings of a regular single coil pickup.
Sound wise, they provide a beefy high output sound but with top end clarity. The other unique thing about these single coils is the 3 screw mounting, similar to a Telecaster Bridge pickup.
The Hardware is a mix of Gold and Brass - Brass Tremolo Bridge, Brass Knurled Dome Knobs for Volume and Tone, gold tuners and gold strap buttons.
These Blazers are Awesome Electric guitars made in Japan during the Golden Age of Japanese Guitars!
This Used BL450 is in Good+ Condition with some play wear, mostly on the back of the body. Plays and sounds GREAT!!
Note it has a Brass Tremolo bridge but does NOT come with the whammy bar.
