60 watt, 2x10 Tube Combo Amplifier with switchable bias and rectifier designed by Bruce Zinky and fender.
Produced from 1996-2002 by Fender, the Prosonic was designed by Bruce Zinky and was, at first, Fender's Custom Shop answer to more of a boutique amplifier with higher gain and features normally associated with amps like Boogie, at the time.
This unique all tube 60 watt 2x10 combo features a bias adjustment...
1) Solid State rectifier, class A/B 60 watts
2) Tube rectifier, class A/B 50 watts
3) Tube rectifier, class A 30 watts
Featuring 2 10" Celestion speakers, 2 channels, effects loop and reverb.
The "30 watt" mode can be harder on the tubes than the other 2 modes.
The most impressive thing about these amps were the pre-amp, rather the pre-amp drive sound.
Most people prefer the non master channel of Fender amplifiers and use an overdrive pedal to get dirt from the amplifier.
No need for a dirt pedal with this bad boy!
And if you want more gain... you got it! The drive channel features dual cascading gain controls that can get you loud and heavy.
A very versatile amplifier, and it's Made in the USA.
This Used amp is in excellent condition - looks more like a re-issue (which they didn't do) than it does an amp from the mid-late 90s! Very little play wear.
Comes with a paper copy of the owners manual.
Optional footswitch not included.
