USED Fender Bassman 50 Head and 2x12 Cabinet circa 1974 / 65 - CONSIGNMENT
Vintage Fender 50 Watt all tube Amplifier Head with 2x12 Cabinet in Very Good Condition.
The Rockin' Bassman 50! We say Rockin because they are!
These Bassman's aren't as popular as the more well known "Bassman" but they're just as good, if not better for certain things. Ie: The rock.
Really nice sparkling cleans but when you turn it up, there's more mids in the sounds compared to most other Fender Circuits.
As it's been said on the net "No Need to convert these to Black Panel specs, they have their own thing going on..."
People have claimed to have gotten the best Rock tone using the Bassman 50.
This head is dated circa 1974/75.
The 2x12 Cabinet is circa 1965 as evident by the Fender logo with the tail (pre 1973)
It also has 2 different speakers in it... One Original Blue Label Fender Eminence 12" and 1 Purple Label Hiwatt/Fane 12".
Casters have been added to the cabinet, thankfully, which will make moving more easier.
This Consignment item is in Very Good condition with the usual amount af wear from 50+ years.
You can see, in the pictures, the tolex is lifting at seams.
