Vintage Analog Distortion Pedal with controls for Tone, Level and Distortion in a compact pedal design in Excellent condition.
This used pedal is in Excellent condition. It's a compact distortion effects pedal for guitar, bass, keyboards, with level, tone and distortion controls.
While it's not the first compact pedal BOSS made... heck it's not even the first "Gain/Overdrive" type pedal they made but it IS the Pedal that has sold in the millions around the world. It is the best selling compact pedal of all time (!)
Not just your First distortion pedal...
A lot of people associate the DS-1 (and other BOSS pedals) with a great Starter pedal (whatever that means) but there's a reason that working/pro musicicans around the world have BOSS pedals, and yes the DS-1, on their pedal board, bass board, keyboard, drum machine, mixing desk, trumpet etc.
This is a Smurftastic sounding / example of the BOSS DS-1. Yes, they do sound different from pedal to pedal over the years and this Japanese one sounds great!
