Product Description

6 String Acoustic Guitar featuring Solid Spruce Top, Laminate Maple Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, Ebony Fingerboard, oval sound hole in Excellent condition.

"Our Model M guitar is a Selmer-Maccaferri style instrument suitable for gypsy jazz music popularised by the great Django Reinhardt..."

The Original Selmer instruments , favored by Django Reinhardt, were produced in France from 1932-1952.
Selmer first partnered with Italian Luthier Mario Maccaferri to design this famous acoustic shape. They split ways a couple years later but continued to make the instrument until '52.

Most people know these as "The Django Guitar", and rightly so.

Featuring the large body size, with somewhat squared shoulders and contours, lower bout cutaway, "moustache" bridge and the famous thin oval soundhole or Large "D" style soundhole.

This one features a Solid European Spruce Top (bent, not carved), Laminate Maple Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck with Ebony Fret Board.
The guitar is finished in a "Matte" satin type finish.
The bridge is "Moveable" with 2 "moustache" markers to help position the bridge.

This fully captures that punchy/growly strong percussive attack tone of that "Gypsy Jazz" style from back in the day.

This Used guitar is in Excellent condition and has very little wear. The only notable "mark" is a small ding along the side of the body - as seen in the picture.

Comes with the Original Hardshell Case.
