The Fender Deluxe Reverb is one of the all-time classic guitar amps and it's beloved worldwide for its articulate, rich, detailed cleans, its thick, roaring overdrive, its mega-mojo tremolo, and its wildly dimensional, splashing reverb - all of which are found in spades in this new Tone Master iteration. What separates this amp from the pack (as well as Fender's ever-popular '65 Reissue Deluxe Reverb) is that this wonderfully organic, responsive, dynamic tone is produced, amazingly, by a 100% digital amplifier. Essentially, this is a gigging, recording, working musician's dream come true. The Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is sonically INDISTINGUISHABLE from it's all tube counterpart, and has a slew of player-centric refinements that actually improve on the already iconic Deluxe Reverb design. The Tone Master has power scaling from 22 watts all the way down to .2 watts, it has a balanced line out with 3 selectable cabinet emulations/IR (no cab emulation, Jensen 12 inch speaker micd with a Shure SM57, and the same Jensen speaker micd with a Royer ribbon mic), and "mute" mode in lieu of "standby" which defeats the internal speaker but still sends signal to the line out for recording and "silent stage" scenarios. The Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is housed in a solid pine cabinet, and sports a phenomenal sounding Jensen N-12K Neodymium speaker - this combination makes the Tone Master HALF THE WEIGHT of the all tube version. All of this in an amp that costs LESS than the tube version!
