Pearl Reference Pure Special Order RFP924XP 4pc Shell Pack. 22x18, 12x9, 13x10, 16x16. Each drum is individually engineered to deliver tonal perfection. Pearl's fanatical devotion to quality is nowhere more evident than in this superb shell pack. Thin plies of prized maple, hand-selected birch, and rare African mahogany provide a resonant, extremely vibrant, and powerful sound.
The new Reference Pure Series remains true to the mission and the original recipe, but while Reference delivers maximum projection for live performance, Reference Pure is optimized to create the most resonant professional series drums perfect for the recording environment, where the ultimate near-field response is required.
Reference Pure toms feature 6 ply shells that are 5.4mm thick and 8 ply floor toms and bass drums 7.2mm thick. 8" and 10" toms blend Maple and Birch while 12" toms are 100% Maple. Floor toms and bass drums blend Maple and African Mahogany.
