USED Tube Works Blue Tube Tube Enhancer Pedal - CONSIGNMENT
Low gain tube overdrive pedal for guitar or bass with controls for output, drive, low, mid, and high in very good condition.
Officially known as the "TW 903", the Blue Tube "Enhancer" pedal was basically an identical, yet lower gain version, of the original 1980's Tube Driver - the TW 901.
Also, it was initially marketed for Bass players to add a bit of tube gain and warmth to their 1980's / 90's solid state bass amp/tone.
These Blue Tubes were adopted by guitarists looking for a softer/smoother lower gain tube pre-amp style pedal to help push an already broken up tube amp sound.
Designed by the master, B.K. Butler, and manufactured in the USA, under his Tube Works name, these were quit popular then and now!
It features a hard wired AC power cord, albeit on the short side (expected to be on a pedal board, so no 5 ft power cord wanted/needed)
With controls for Output and Gain amount and a 3 band EQ with Low, Mids and Highs.
A very pleasing pedal and perfect for today's digital world to help warm up your digital rig.
A very nice "on all the time" pedal.
This is the second version of this pedal, made in the USA circa late 80's / early 1990's.
This consignment pedal is in Very Good++ condition with some minor wear on the graphics on the face of the pedal.
There is some velcro on the bottom that can be easily removed, if wanted.
Note The small transformer in the pedal, riveted to the chassis, is a little loose. You can feel it move around a bit when you shake the pedal, not that you would need to shake the pedal.
