Solid Top Six String Acoustic guitar in the style of a Martin D-28, made in Japan.
Hailing from Japan, 1983 - right at the tail end of the "Lawsuit" era of Japanese guitars.
The year before this, Fernandes were forced with 2 choices by the port authority in San Francisco (when importing they're latest Strat and Tele copies) - either have the headstocks cut or send them back to Japan. They send them back.
By 1983, most Japanese copies had changed they're designs as to not be direct copies of American guitars but Takamine was still importing these Martin copies.
By the following year, the Headstock shape had been "Modified" to not be a direct copy of the Martin guitars.
This little gem is influenced by the coveted Martin D-28, featuring a solid Spruce Top and Indian Rosewood back and sides (laminate).
Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard - featuring those Martin style fret dot markers.
Even the regular F360 - with a laminate top - are regarded as tone machines, but this is a step above.
And... it's left handed! Sorry all you right handed players, this is goofy foot only.
This Consignemnt guitar is in Very Good+ condition with some noticeable play wear on the top and back. There's a little wear on the back of the neck, near the nut - as seen in the picture.
No cracks or repairs.
And... it comes with the Original Takamine Hardshell case!!
