Product Description

Vintage Op Amp Fuzz Pedal with controls for Volume and Drive in Very Good condition.

A wonderful, perfect example of 1970's Effect pedal design, "Fuzz-Stortion" pedal originally designed by Bob Moog and built by the Norlin Company in Buffalo New York.

The 1970's were a crazy time for Effect pedals... before the mid 70's there weren't too many Stomp Boxes or Compavt pedals. Most were pretty big and there weren't nearly the amount of companies making them. And, most guitarists were using one of two (possibly three) pedals so an actual pedal board wasn't the norm and pedal board realestate wasn't a worry.

The Maestro came up with this wonderful design with the wheels on the side of the pedals to be easily controlled by your feet. Oh, and the foot switch is The Pedal itself. It's one big switch (!)
They made a bunch of different effects in this series, the Phaser and this Fuzz probably being the most popular.

Other than looking sooo cool, this sounds even better than it looks. The fuzz still allows for great note seperation and clarity while still Fuzzin' it up!

Built like a tank and with some weight too. It's lasted for almost 50 years and will probably last another.
Your power option is... 9 volt battery, but leave it unplugged when not in use and you should get a lot of life from the battery.

This Consignment item is in Very Good++ condition with some cosmetic wear.
Still has the original Battery door, which usually goes missing.

And, it's was made in Buffalo!
