Made in Japan, Big in Japan, An excellent righteous celebration of the golden age of shred guitar from Ibanez.
This Ibanez RG570 FM (Flame Maple) is a wonderful example of the very popular and influential RG Series made in the late 80's / early 90's.
Cherry Sunburst with flame maple veneers on top and back of a Basswood Body.
Original Cosmo Black Edge Locking Trem bridge - some prefer these over Floyd's!
Wizard neck profile, Maple neck with a rosewood board, 24 frets - in excellent condition.
Classic RG Body shape, Ibanez V1, S1 and V2 pickups, 5 way blade switch.
As with a few of these, it sports a June 1990 Serial Number but these Flame models weren't actually released until 91 (then discontinued at the end of 92).
Overall this 'Wizards Majestic Wand' is in Very Good + Condition and has some wear that's common to many of these 30+ year old Shred Machines.
As with many (most) of the RG's from this era, there is the classic lacquer crack on the body at the neck heel - most are seen with these lacquer cracks on both sides, this only has one on the Bass Side.
There's some wear along the bottom edge of the body - scratches and such - as seen in the picture. There are a few other smaller dings on the side of the body - small, not very noticeable.
Frets and fret board is in excellent condition with a few small marks on the board.
The neck pickup ring has a little wear marks on it.
All of this is cosmetic - guitar is in excellent working condition.
Comes with whammy bar and aftermarket hardshel case.
