This is a very cool, "Modded", Fender American Stratocaster!
14 Years ago, this guy began it's lilfe as a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster - like the Highway One Strats but with a glossy body.
It actually started life as an HSS (Hum, single, single) but then got transformed into the David Gilmour "Black Strat".
Features an Alder body, finished in... black, maple neck, 22 frets, Modern "C" shape, satin finish to the neck, large 70's style headstock.
Pickups are the Fender Ameican Single Coils that were in the Highway One and American Deluxe Strat.
A Recessed (in the pickguard) mini toggle switch activates the neck pickup giving you the option for all 3 pickups at once or bridge and neck pickup on together.
Thee pickguard is a 3 ply Black/White/Black guard that's had it's edge coloured in black to give the look of the oiginal 1 ply acrylic pickguard on David Gilmour's guitar.
Chrome strap buttons have been replaced with black ones.
This is a very cool strat - again, even if you're not a Floyd fan/Gilmour fan.
This Used guitar is in excellent condition with some light play wear (and the mods)
It plays great and sounds great, especially having those extra tonal options with the mini toggle switch.
Comes with a non-original Hardshell case with a fantastic hand drawn image!
