Ginela Gonzalez - Piano, Vocal
Ginela Gonzalez is a local Vocalist, Songwriter and Performer who has also been teaching private music lessons for over 7 years. Born in Cuba, she migrated with her family to Canada at the age of 8 when she fell in love with music after hearing the radio for the first time. She attended
high school at Cawthra Park School of the Arts where she began her journey of studying music and Majored in the Vocal Music Regional Arts Program.
For College, Ginela attended Metalworks Institute of Sound and Music Production, also majoring in the Vocal Performance and Technology Program where she learned about the ins and outs of the music and entertainment industry from the perspective of a singer and recording artist. She aspires a solo career and is currently working in the studio to complete recording her first EP.
As a teacher she is caring and nurturing and inclusive, and her passion is ensuring that her students fall in love with music. She meets the students where they are at from beginner to advanced and helps them develop their unique musical style. Her favorite genres to teach are R&B, Pop, and Rock.
