The Faded Aged Fiesta Red finish has been given the "Lush Closet Classic" relic treatment, which roughly translates to "vintage accurate, realistic finish checking, but very low on dings and chips", and sports lightly tarnished gold hardware. The 2-piece select ash body with Offset Seam wears the patina of a well-loved vintage instrument. The maple neck has a comfortable 11/56 Off Center "V" profile typical of a mid-'50s Strat, along with a nitrocellulose lacquer finish for smooth playability. The fingerboard is also maple for incredible resonance and sustain.
Equipped with a set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 single-coil Strat pickups, this guitar delivers the bell-like tone that defined the Strat sound. The reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup minimizes hum. A 5-way blade switch provides classic Strat pickup combinations, with master volume and two tone controls (for neck/middle and bridge pickups).
